Is my subscription a donation?

No. Subscribers are purchasing access - somewhat like purchasing a newspaper or magazine subscription.

Why $3 or more?

The low cost is to make subscriptions affordable to as many people as possible, especially kids and students. Honestly, we used the cost of a fancy cup of coffee to arrive at the $3 starting cost. The more part is for those who wish and can willingly pay more.

Why one payment?

Instead of monthly or annual payments, subscriptions are a one-payment affair, just to keep it simple and to promote more visitors to become subscribers.

No. SS-UNITED-STATES.COM is not affiliated with any other organizations, or preservation groups. Created in 1997, this DOT.COM site is and remains independent. We do encourage your participation in other sites and organizations. This site reports on events and news of interest to those who shares an appreciation of the SS UNITED STATES.

We will not share or sell your email or identity information with any other firm or organization.

Do I get more if I subscribe for more than the basic $3 subscription?

Nope. There is no difference - your private access is the same regardless of payment amount. Paying more gets nothing more, other than a verbal, "Yippee, Wow or sometimes even a Sheesh!" that a big spender like you will never actually hear. You'll just have to imagine the giddiness you'll be creating!
